Dr. Kim Lazarus has had so much success in identifying why a team of workers are not being productive. Kim has been teaching motivational interviewing nationwide at medical conferences to help physicians move from a doctor-centric model to a patient-centric one, empowering what the patient wants and needs and gives them the self motivation to move forward in a positive way with their wellbeing. This training will help identify what the employees wants and needs are and will provide a positive work environment by utilizing these strategies in the workplace.
What is Motivational Interviewing? (MI)
This introductory, evidenced-based workshop is designed for anyone who wants to be a better communicator and a positive leader. You will learn how to build motivation and use it to propel a real commitment to healthier behaviors using a unique intervention approach which integrates MI and other impactful coaching methods. This hands-on workshop will give you plenty of opportunities to practice these new skills followed by discussion and the ability to integrate these skills into your work life.

- The Power of Scaling Questions
With motivational interviewing (MI) training along with group coaching, key areas of concern are identified and dealt with. This 3-hour training begins with education on motivational interviewing techniques then progresses to the problem solving group session. The group is now putting on their coaching hats and brainstorming how to problem solve challenging areas faced with in the office. This is a great way to practice these amazing communication skills and solve inner-office problems.
